FOUL SEWER, GOREY, WEXFORD, IRELAND

This project is currently out to tender and involves the installation of a 0.5kM foul sewer to an existing pump house. The project involved the design of the foul sewer which had very restricted levels and a small flow and had to achieve a self-cleansing velocity.

Our involvement in this project included foul sewer design, preparation of construction documents for tender and tender review. Our services will extend to on-site inspection and certification of construction works, once the contract has been awarded.

VARIOUS PROJECTS - WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS, IRELAND

D.J Fitzpatrick Consulting Engineers have been engaged to complete numerous projects which involved the upgrade of existing domestic wastewater treatment systems. This project scope would essentially consist of completed an on-site wastewater suitability test along with the completion of report detailing our findings and recommendations.

 The project would then be required to gain planning approval from the Local Authority. Once planning is approved, we would seek competitive tenders from suitably qualified contractors and inspect the works during construction.

VARIOUS PROJECTS - WASTEWATER DISCHARGE LICENCE APPLICATIONS, IRELAND

When sites are not suitable for discharge of treated effluent to ground, sometimes there is a possibility that when site conditions allow to discharge to nearby rivers or streams.

We have been involved with numerous projects where we had to gain approval from the Local Authority for permission to discharge to surface water. These types of projects require a status rating in accordance with the EPA on the river/stream which often involves the collection of samples over an extended period of time.

We have been successful in completing such application for small and large residential estates. Our involvement in such this projects included foul sewer design, assimilative capacity calculations and preparation of applications for submission to Local Authorities.
